Wire dimensions

VOLME-DRAHT GmbH, based in Hagen-Eilpe, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rudolf Rafflenbeul Stahlwarenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the parent company.

For almost 30 years, we have specialised in the manufacture of high-quality cold heading wires for screws, nuts, bolts, rivets and cold extruded parts for maximum forming. Our products are used in numerous industrial sectors, such as automotive, mechanical engineering, steel construction and the construction industry.

Volme Draht has a high-convection furnace annealing plant and a fully automatic surface treatment plant for polymer and thermal coating, among other things. In our wire drawing plant, we can produce dimensions from 2.50 to 32.00 mm round and various profiles.

Since its foundation, production has increased tenfold through continuous expansion.

Washers

We manufacture flat washers, lock washers, spring washers and tension washers in accordance with current DIN standards or customer-specific requirements. Our washers ensure secure screw connections and permanent load distribution – even under dynamic loads and vibrations. Ideal for applications in automotive engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.

Pins

Our range of clamping pins and spacer pins includes precision fasteners for the permanent fixing or positioning of components. Whether for rotating applications or as assembly fasteners, our pins offer reliability, dimensional accuracy and high load-bearing capacity.

Special parts

In addition to standard components, we develop and manufacture customised special parts according to drawings. Our team supports you with advice on materials and manufacturing technology – from the initial idea to series production. Special solutions are particularly suitable for demanding fastening solutions in mechanical engineering or in energy and automotive technology.
